            • Decluttering and depersonalizing is almost always in order. This home was no exception.
            • This home was transformed with simple fixes . Two rooms of new carpet and a couple of new light fixtures.
            • Though the homeowners didn't have much to spend, we assured them their $1,200 would make a world of difference , and it did. 
            •  We were able to use some of their furniture, then we brought in new living room furniture and decor, and the rest is the "magic of staging"!
            • Since this small home only had two bedrooms we set up the kid's room with two beds. This showed potential buyers that there was room for their little family!

            • We picked out some paint colors and fixtures for the finishing touches.

            • It did need a little paint and some new carpeting that revealed the wear and tear on the home. Money well spent on that, as it made a huge difference to make this home move in ready.
            • We were able to move around some of their existing furniture to other rooms, and then bring in the furnishings we needed to make it pop.
            • The bedrooms and loft area were pretty lifeless before. We added our pizzaz and brought the home to life!

            What we did to make this home sellable:
            • This home had lots of mismatched furniture-way too much, so by removing several pieces, and painting out the dark walls, it gave the rooms space to breathe.
            • This transformation was free and just took a little bit of elbow grease! They already had the paint. Sometimes small things make a huge impact.
            • When selling a home you need to show every square inch of the space. Buyers need to be able to imagine that there's room for their family to move in. We know how to showcase the home in such a way that there's perfect traffic flow throughout the house. 
            • We used mostly their furniture, but just eliminated a lot of the clutter, and brought in a few of our own pieces. Adding the decor is what brought it all to life and ready for quick sale!

            The finished tour is great, but if you want to see how we dramatically changed the look of this home you MUST see the before and after photos. You won't believe it's the same house!

            What we did to make this home sellable:
            • Obviously, decluttering was first on the list! We marked the items that could stay, and then the sellers got busy with their to do list of eliminating the clutter.
            • Light and bright sells homes, so we had them take down their dark window treatments and painted the walls a nice neutral color that would appeal to all potential buyers. What a difference paint can make!
            • We changed out the dated ceiling fan in the dining room.
            • Then, believe it or not, the dreary kitchen was transformed, by painting out the existing cabinets. Yes, those are the same cabinets! 
            • We painted out the existing cabinets in the bathrooms, along with adding more updated light fixtures.
            • Of course, the staging was the icing on the cake! We used some of their furnishings and some of ours to create a design that fit the style of this particular home.
