Most people feel like they have to sell their homes in late spring or early summer. Keep in mind that not everyone who’s looking to purchase a home has school aged kids to consider. Also, Real Estate is supply and demand. There may be more homes for sale in the summer, but all those other buyers aren’t considering a move before school. So, then supply goes down and demand goes up for those particular buyers. Think about it; less competition typically means your house become more valuable. So, when to list shouldn’t even be a consideration, especially if you are in the latter group.
